Carolyn D’Auria
Administrative Assistant
Carolyn is a graduate student at Columbia University’s School of Social Work and previously earned an M.A. in Experimental Psychology from the University of Vermont. Through her graduate studies, she has worked with children and adults with a wide variety psychological conditions in clinical settings. Her master’s thesis work examined the neurocognitive underpinnings of reading comprehension processes in individuals with autism. Carolyn’s clinical experience supports her work at Metro NY DBT Center as she engages with clients in a warm, accepting, and supportive manner. As an Administrative Assistant, Carolyn helps organize and execute intakes, referrals, billing, and programming at Metro. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, rock climbing, reading, and spending time with her family and two cats.
