Dave Rich, LMSW
Dave Rich, LCSW-C has specialized in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) in various private practice settings in New York and Maryland for over 7 years, working with adolescents, adults, couples and families. Dave received his MSW at Columbia University School of Social Work in 2016, and was part of the Columbia DBT Training Program and Lab under Dr. Andre Ivanoff, PhD. Dave has experience working in various mental health settings including adolescent in-patient at Sheppard Pratt Health System, and after-school and camp programs. His training also includes Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), an effective addition to DBT. Dave has enjoyed working at Metro NY DBT Center since 2016, doing individual therapy, running DBT skills groups, working with parents, and participating in the Metro DBT consultation team. He brings great enthusiasm in providing all aspects of DBT for adolescents, young adults, and adults dealing with depression, anxiety, emotional dysregulation, and impulsive behavior.
